Sunshine Daydream-The Grateful Dead Experience w/spec. guests: Matt Carter Band

The Historic Lincoln Square Theater is excited to present 'SUNSHINE DAYDREAM' - The Grateful Dead Experience, on Saturday March 22, 2025. This will be their first appearance to the historic theater where we feel their music will sound amazing with the acoustics of the theater. Matt Carter Band will be the opening act making their second appearance and will be a great match-up with Sunshine Daydream! 

 

Founded in 2013, Sunshine Daydream specializes in performing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music in a refreshing high-energy, up-tempo style. They have played through hundreds of songs in the Grateful Dead repertoire over the years. You never know what you are going to hear and the sets are designed to please the Deadheads and casual listener. The songs are performed as they are intended: high energy, hard-hitting, and always danceable. Expect psychedelic and innovative jams as the band navigates the Grateful Dead repertoire and select covers by bands like The Allman Brothers, Phish, Widespread Panic, and more. The band is based in Springfield, IL, and has gratefully enjoyed the support from the greater Illinois community and beyond.
