Illinois Supreme Court Rules Sean Grayson To Remain In Custody For Now
(Decatur, IL) — The Illinois Supreme Court is ruling that the former Sangamon County deputy charged in the killing of Sonya Massey will remain behind bars for the time being. The state’s high court entered an order yesterday that will keep Sean Grayson in jail until the Supreme Court decides if it is taking the case. The ruling comes after Sangamon County State’s Attorney John Milhiser asked the Illinois Supreme Court to review an Appellate Court’s decision to release Grayson ahead of his trial.
