Labor Day Road Congestion
If you’re hitting the road today for the long weekend, try to avoid driving from 2 p.m. to just after 6 p.m. Triple-A says that way you avoid some of the largest periods of congestion. The company reports domestic travel is up nine percent this Labor Day weekend compared to last year. Thousands are expected to hit the roadways, encouraged by lower gas prices which have dropped 46 cents from this time last year.
