R.Kelly's former manager Donnell Russell was sentenced yesterday (December 19th) to a year in federal prison for calling a shooting threat at a screening of Surviving R. Kelly in 2018. According to The Huffington Post, the sentence won’t add time to the prison time he’s already expected to serve in another federal criminal case against him.
Russell told a Manhattan federal judge that he had “made bad judgments” while briefly working with Kelly, adding, “I’m not a horrible person.”
