Illinois State Fire Marshal Matt Perez Announces Retirement

Illinois State Fire Marshal Matt Perez is retiring. He is calling it a career at the end of today after serving over seven years as Illinois State Fire Marshal and nearly 40 years in the public safety field. Perez also worked as a patrol officer in the Kane County Sheriff’s Department.
