Flags To Fly At Half Staff To Honor Fallen DCFS Worker

Illinois is honoring a fallen DCFS employee.  All U.S. and Illinois flags began flying at half-staff Thursday at state facilities in memory of Deidre Silas.  Silas was stabbed to death earlier this month while checking on six children in a home in Thayer.  Benjamin Reed is charged with murder in the attack.  Flags will fly at half-staff until sunset on Saturday.
