Ducks, Prizes, and Family Fun: Don’t Miss the Duck Derby!
[Decatur, IL] On May 3 from 11 AM – 1 PM, get ready for a splash of fun at the Duck Derby, a
high-energy, family-friendly fundraiser hosted by your Children’s Museum of Illinois! Cheer on
your rubber racing duck as it zooms down our custom, Mueller-built water track in thrilling heats
— and if your duck is the fastest of them all, you’ll waddle away with a $3,000 grand prize! You
do not have to be present to win, so share the fun with your friends and family!

Over the past three years, the Museum has installed two cornerstone exhibits, launched new
programs that provide STEM education to kids, and distributed hundreds of donor-funded
memberships to families who otherwise would not be able to access hands on learning
opportunities.
