ICC Approves ComEd, Ameren Grid Plans
(Chicago, IL) — Illinois Commerce Commission is signing off on ComEd’s re-filed multi-year grid plan with modifications. The Commission approved three-point-three-billion-dollar in investments and system improvements. The decision cut the utility’s proposed four-point-five-billion-dollar spending by around 25 percent. The ICC also approved Ameren Illinois’ refiled multi-year grid plan with modifications. That includes 356 million dollars in investments and system improvements. The decision cut the utility’s proposed one billion dollars in spending by about 66 percent.
