MCLETC Opens Campus for Spooktacular Trick-or-Treat Event on Halloween
The Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center (MCLETC) along with Richland Community College is inviting families across the community to join them for their Trick-Or-Treat event on Halloween night!
As part of their dedication to community service, the police recruits of Class 22-18 are resurrecting this safe and fun-filled trick-or-treating event, which was last held in 2019. The recruits are gathering piles of candy and Halloween games for families across central Illinois to enjoy.
This event will be held at MCLETC between the hours of 5 P.M. and 8 P.M. Trollies will be on standby to shuttle groups back and forth between the Rotary parking lot and the MCLETC training center (where the trick or treating and games will take place). Be ready for a night full of treats and fun with your local law enforcement! We look forward to seeing the community in this event for the first time since 2019!
A special thank you to our sponsors for their generous donations: Decatur Police Department, Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Decatur Police Auxiliary, Del’s Popcorn, Decatur Walmart, Farmers Insurance – Bob Frazier, Doherty’s, Decatur Public Transport, Decatur Visitors Bureau, Dynagraphics, and Garver Feeds.
