Our youth deserve a chance to live and learn in environments that are safe and that put them first. We have a wealth of qualified law enforcement officers in Macon County who selflessly devote unlimited hours to keeping our streets safe from danger. To help reduce crime, we must work together with law enforcement to provide positive experiences to help these young leaders grow and be future leaders that our communities need.- Dr. Jarmese Sherrod
We want to empower leaders to build healthy communities, decrease crime and antisocial behavior, repair harm and restore relationships. We can do this by strengthening relationships between individuals as well as social connections within communities. To learn more information about upcoming restorative practices opportunities, follow our SIMP, Inc. Facebook page. These events are sponsored by Governor Pritzker, Lt. Governor Stratton, the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority R3 grant, S.I.M.P., Inc., Macon County Law Enforcement, and Decatur Memorial Hospital.
