House Advances Resolution Honoring Slain Police Officer From Decatur

The Illinois House is advancing a resolution to honor the life of Police Officer Chris Oberheim.  The Decatur native was killed May 19th of last year while responding to a domestic disturbance in Champaign.  If given final approval, the measure would dedicate a portion of South Side Drive in Decatur as the “Officer Chris Oberheim Memorial Highway.”
