Students in Macon County are invited to attend Millikin University’s Macon Promise Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, from 6 – 8 p.m. The open house will be held on the 1st floor of the University Commons on Millikin University’s campus.
Students can meet with faculty and staff to learn more about Millikin, the University’s academic programs and the Macon Promise reduced tuition rate for local students.
Millikin University’s Macon Promise initiative is a reduced annual undergraduate tuition rate of $26,000. This rate represents a 33 percent discount from the current tuition cost and is locked in for up to four years. Students are able to receive additional scholarships and aid from Millikin University based on their application for admission to Millikin and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Those who are eligible for the Macon Promise are any student who lives in Macon County; students who previously attended or currently attend a Macon County high school (Includes Central A&M and Cerro Gordo high schools) and students transferring from Richland Community College.
