Investigation Underway After Body Found In Car Next To Cornfield

An investigation is underway after a body was found inside a vehicle next to a cornfield in Piatt County.  The body of 45-year-old James Warren was found Sunday in the area of the 13-hundred- block of East Road and the 500-block of North Road in Rural Atwood.  The case is being coordinated by the Illinois State Police and the Piatt County Sheriff’s Office.  An autopsy was performed, and the cause of death is still being investigated.
