A nonprofit is set to help those facing eviction after a statewide moratorium ends. COVIDHelpIllinois-dot-org is partnering with CARPLS Legal Aid and other Illinois legal aid agencies to help people deal with COVID-related legal problems. CARPLS Legal Aid Services predicts half-a-million to 800-thousand Illinoisans will be evicted when the moratorium ends April 3rd. The organization has helped more than two-thousand Illinoisans and is supported by the Lawyers Trust Fund of Illinois.
