Clinton City Leaders Worry About Losing Local Walmart

(Clinton, IL)  —  The city of Clinton is worried about its economic future without its Walmart store.  Walmart announced Wednesday that it plans to close the store in Clinton next month.  Clinton Finance Commissioner Tom Edmunds says he’s worried about the loss of about 70 jobs and all of the sales tax money that the store generated for the community.
