A school administrator from southern Illinois is running for governor in 2018. Madison County Superintendent Bob Daiber formally announced his bid yesterday. He said his campaign will center around labor, education and breaking the budget stalemate. Other candidates include Chicago businessman Chris Kennedy and Chicago Alderman Ameya Pawar.
