(Decatur, IL) -- Decatur police say they stumbled upon a meth lab this week when they went to serve a warrant on a 35-year-old felon. Officers found Christopher Baker near Garfield Park Monday and when they took him to his home in the 400-block of South McClellan, they found three loaded firearms in plain view in his basement. Also in the basement was a meth lab, including all the necessary ingredients and about a pound of the drug. Baker shared the home with his girlfriend and two young children. He has a long criminal history, including six trips to prison.
