(Decatur, IL) -- Decatur transportation officials are giving commuters a heads up that utility work will be closing a portion of Faries Parkway this week. Par Electric will be rebuilding power lines for the ADM conveyer just west of Brush College Road, causing the right eastbound lane to be closed starting at 7:30 this morning. The closure will remain in effect until Wednesday afternoon, weather permitting. Use some extra care as your drive through the work zone.
