(Springfield, IL) -- If you normally file your taxes early, it looks like you’re going to have to wait a couple of weeks to get started, no matter what. The state’s revenue department says tax season for individuals will begin the same day you’re eligible to file your federal return with the IRS, January 30th. The delay stems from last-minute changes brought on by tax code adjustments resulting from the fiscal cliff negotiations that wrapped up on New Year’s Day.
