Parents And Community Members Invited To Brush College Hearing

(Decatur, IL) -- A public hearing is being held this evening so the community can sound off on the proposal to shutter College School. Superintendent Gloria Davis says the school board is leaning towards the closure since enrollment at the school has dropped below 200 students. Brush College students would be split between Hope Academy and Harris Elementary next school year. Tonight’s hearing is 6 p.m. at the Kyle Administration Building, directly before the board’s regular meeting.
