(Springfield, IL) -- A bill that would allow sick Illinoisans to use medical marijuana for pain relief will soon be in front of the full House. A state House committee passed the measure Wednesday and now it heads to the floor for debate. The legislation would create a three-year pilot program where doctors can prescribe marijuana to patients with certain ailments.
