(DeWitt, IL) -- Authorities in DeWitt County say a 72-year-old man is in custody in connection with a deadly wreck over the weekend. Police say the unidentified DeWitt resident was driving under the influence late Saturday night when he ran down a pedestrian at the intersection of Bloomington and Franklin streets. The victim’s name has yet to be released. The accident remains under investigation.
