(Decatur, IL) -- A 40-year-old Decatur man is scheduled to be arraigned today following his January arrest for allegedly sending lewd messages to a teenage girl. Police began watching the unidentified man after it was reported that text messages were sent to the girl eluding to the two having sex. The victim said the exchanges had been occurring for several months. Upon arrest, the suspect did admit to sending the messages but said he never tried to go any further.
